Rice fritters
INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 LITRE OF MILK
  • ½ LITRE OF WATER
  • TABLESPOONS OF SUGAR
  • THE GRATED ZEST OF 1 LEMON
  • 1 SACHET OF VANILLA ESSENCE
  • ½ CUBE OF YEAST
  • 15 TABLESPOONS OF FLOUR


PREPARAZIONE:

Bring the water and milk, with a pinch of salt, the sugar and the vanilla essence to the boil. Add the rice. When cooked remove from the heat and leave to cool.

Add the yeast and the flour. Leave to rest for 1 hour. Shape the rice into little parcels and fry. Coat with sugar or honey and serve.
