Owing to continuous market demands and to the great attention given to final user safety requirements, Essedue Srl has invested a large amount of energy and assets in order to make its range of slicing machines not only highly innovative but also excellently designed, functional and, especially, safe. The sales network covers great part of the world and for this reason Essedue has adopted various marks in compliance with the regulations required in the Countries of export and within the Italian market.
With its new range, Essedue intends reaching increasingly higher levels in order to make its machines easy, quick and safe to use on a daily basis.

The CE marking was introduced by the European Commission and establishes the mark's conditions of use; thanks to the CE marking, the producer or a legal representative within the European Union declares that the product is in compliance with the general safety rules included in the CE marking directive.

The UL GS mark is a voluntary trademark. It may be used on products such as electrical household appliances, lighting appliances, information technology and audio/video equipment and components. The products are evaluated according to Directives for Low Tension, the EMC directive and the Machine Directive. The evaluation is based upon European harmonized standards.

The UL trademark is the most acknowledged and accepted safety trademark in USA and Canada. For North American consumers, for authorities dealing with the supervision of code application and local/national regulations and for producers, UL is the most acknowledged and accepted safety symbol in North America.
UL is a leading independent organization in the field of North American product safety certification. UL worldwide branch offices test products according to the US safety requirements in order to guarantee safe access all over the USA. |

ROHS IS THE DIRECTIVE 2002/95/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 January 2003 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS). This Directive establishes the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment put on the market of the European Union from 1 July 2006.
This Directive enacts the restriction of the use of: Lead, Mercury, Hexavalent, Chromium (Chromium VI), Cadmium, Polybrominated byphenils (PBB), Polybrominated dyphenil ethers (PBDE). |
